Testing another new collage creator for layout display

I have had Lumapix Fotofusion software for quite some time now.  It's a really great piece of software that over the years, I tend to overlook.  But every once in a while, when I'm looking to quickly create a great collage of photos, I remember to pull it out.  I've used it primarily for printing stuff out on paper - as a matter of fact, I found it extremely useful for creating my business cards and promotional material (I create logo and other objects in Photoshop, but then use Fotofusion for the actual final layout).

So - I got to thinking just recently, that it might be a great tool for creating nice photo displays on my blog.  The only problem is, in doing a little research, I really haven't come across anyone else using it for this purpose, and I'm wondering if it's because it's not a great application for this particular job, or if it's just because the software itself is still flying under everyone else's radar....

I've created a VERY quick collage - I'm still not sure about the pixel counts and such.  I'm pretty new at blogging and displaying so not sure if it will turn out right...here goes:

Family Fun!!!

It's been so nice having everyone home for the holidays!  I realized, with growing apprehension, that this will actually be one of the last times that we will all be together for quite a while!  Study abroad, co-op jobs and summer camp are all conspiring to keep all 7 of us from being together again until at least July, if not much longer, depending on various different schedules, so I made it a top priority to capture us all together.  Of course, trying to get all 5 kids into the viewfinder at once proved more challenging than I had anticipated, but I managed to get a couple of shots that made me really happy!  Here's a few of the better ones...

T.'s 1st Birthday! (Quick Preview)

Thing 1 and Thing 2 were in full swing, setting up for Miss T's first birthday!  A drab, ordinary room was transformed into a fantastic setting for a Cat in the Hat themed day complete with big hats, goldfish in blue water (swedish fish in blue jello!), and lots of bright primary colors!  Friends and family convened celebrating Miss T's special day and had fun feasting on an amazing array of vegan treats.

Testing Storyboard Software

I am testing out a new product called Storyboard. It took me a few tries to figure out that things were actually working correctly! While I wouldn't go so far as to say it's Un-user friendly, there are a few things that were not glaringly obvious and while it did exactly what it was suppose to do, I had a very hard time realizing it! I actually was well into an email to support, documenting each step I was taking, when it finally occurred to me that I was expecting to see an end step in Photoshop, but it actually just creates the final images in an outside folder. I would NOT have known this had i not watched the video 3 times!
